To date, 25 business networks from the Albanian diaspora have been established in 25 countries in the world, spread over four continents. In May 2014, the Central Presidency/ Executive Board and the Global President of the RRBDSH were elected, where it is represented by the most successful businessmen from the Albanian Diaspora in the world. This body has the organizational structure, the network charter and the working platform, these documents were approved at the meeting of the RRBDSH Central Council in May 2015 in Pristina. The Business Network of the Albanian Diaspora is an achievement to be proud of. I am honored to be the chairman of the board of this valuable organization, which has already succeeded in bringing together the most successful businesspeople in the diaspora and which has a bright future ahead of it. “Mergata Albanian” is an important community of successful businesspeople, athletes, artists, actors, doctors, and others. There is a tremendous amount of professional expertise and knowledge that this network can attract!
I have seen first-hand the importance of Albanian companies working together. In Texas, we have supported each other for investments and coordination of large shipments and joint orders. These types of synergies can only be beneficial to everyone.
When Dr. Naim Dedushaj Ideator/Founder in 2014 in Dallas, Texas presented me his idea to bring together the companies of the Albanian diaspora worldwide, taking advantage of synergies and encouraging investments in Albanian countries, I understood this great initiative and was immediately ready to join. This is something that the Albanian Mergata has been missing over the years - a format that would unite us all. This was in fact the first time for me to meet colleagues (whom I had only heard about), when the meeting was organized with the Business Network of the Albanian Diaspora and the networks established in different countries of the world in 2014 in Pristina where we elected the Board of Directors and the President.

Mr. Nazar Mehmeti stressed that Congressman Engel made a very valuable contribution to Kosovo's freedom and independence during several decades of its struggle against oppression. His persistent support for Kosovo in the U.S. Congress through the sponsorship of many resolutions and public hearings paved the way for Kosovo's freedom in 1999, when the democratic world, led by the United States of America, came to the aid of the people of Kosovo's freedom.
Congressman Engel was and continues to be among those American politicians who believe that the United States should remain at the forefront of protecting freedom, democracy and human rights in the world.
"I have always had a special place in my heart for the Balkans, especially for Kosovo", Mr. Engel, in his farewell speech to the US Congress.
"In 1999, I strongly supported the intervention of President Clinton's administration in the Balkans, which we now know prevented a real genocide. Since then, I have continued to champion the sovereignty and independence of Kosovo. That country has taken extraordinary steps forward and now Kosovo is recognized by the United States, England, France, Germany, Japan and many other important nations," Engel said in his farewell speech.

Dr. Naim Dedushaj, Director of Diaspora Investments
Mr. Nazar Mehmeti, President of the Business Network of the Albanian Diaspora
Dear Dr. Dedushaj and Mr. Mehmeti, I would like to convey my compliments to you for establishing the Business Network for the Albanian Diaspora and for giving it a breathing space as you gave it last year. You have my respect and continued support for this initiative as Dr. Dedushaj had first proposed it to me a few years ago.
It was a great pleasure for me to be in Pristina last year, when this network was founded, bringing together all the diaspora business networks from different countries. You two you know that I have done my best to help you move forward with the original idea and this is an absolutely incredible step to have these functional networks in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and Turkey!
With a structure at the central level, the Albanian diaspora business networks are naturally important in bringing everyone together to benefit from the synergies of these state-level diaspora business networks around the world.
I want to applaud the great progress made over the past year and encourage you both to continue this important work. Thousands have already joined this cooperation network and I am sure that many thousands more will do so in the future. This is the way forward to ensure foreign investment and sustainable development in Kosovo, Albania and across South-East Europe.
You can be sure that I will continue to offer my strong support, as well as the support of the Canadian NATO Association, as well as the Canada-Albania Business Council. The initiative you created and realized is an excellent example of the potential for prosperity and stability in the Balkans - the exact goal of the Canadian NATO Association and the Canada-Albania Business Council.
Sincerely,
Robert Baines

Albanians have moved all over the world from America all the way to Australia.
Turkey welcomes our oldest and largest diaspora. With business networks now operating in 25 different countries (and many more), this is a great success. The Albanian Diaspora Business Network brings together all these networks at state level and offers them a functional forum for discussion, cooperation and concrete action. The activities of the network will promote investments in Albanian countries and together we can overcome administrative barriers and support each other in retaining the risk of large investments. We can bring our valuable knowledge and experience to help develop the countries where Albanians live today.

It was a great pleasure for me to be in Pristina last year, when this network was founded, bringing together all diaspora business networks from different countries.

The Global Business Network of the Albanian Diaspora and its President Mr. Nazar Mehmeti thank and are eternally grateful for Congressman Eliot Engel.
January 6, 2021 - Congressman and great friend of Albanians, one of the most prominent supporters in the US Congress of the rights of Albanians everywhere, Eliot Engel, ended his political career in Washington, as a member of Congress and Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, after 32 years in the US Congress.
The President of the ALBANIAN DIASPORA GLOBAL BUSINESS NETWORK, Mr. NAZAR MEHMETI, thanks and is eternally grateful to Congressman Eliot Engel.

It was a great pleasure for me to be in Pristina last year, when this network was founded, bringing together all diaspora business networks from different countries.
